Japan has always represented the future to me. Crowded, new technology, less censorship, more freedom, etc. I don't know if it's all in my mind, but it sounds so cool in so many ways. But I guess instead of being liberated the people are really just sheep who follow the next manufactured fad. Suicide as a fad? That's just mind blowing. It sounds like they're not used to doing anything alone. As an individual. Even to commit suicide they have to be part of a group. Maybe Japan doesn't sound so cool anymore.
