Escape

i fell in love tonight
again
i watched a movie and fell in love
not with the actress
or the actor
not the beautiful
exciting city or strange new
culture
i fell in love with the feeling
i had
the same feeling i get when i lose
myself in a wonderful book
the feeling of escaping
the feeling i never want to end
but always does the warmth goes
away and i'm returned to
the cold harsh world a crash
landing into reality once
again expelled from
paradise and torn from the womb
but for that rare instance right
before i wake up
i'm at peace and
it's worth it
